photography by Sarah Margaret ChurchOur beagle Pokey has many skills. He can smell a piece of chicken bone 30' off a trail. He can hear you unwrapping anything or even opening the refrigerator and kitchen cabinets while he is deeply asleep. He can pee for 3 minutes straight... no kidding he really can. He can eat like no other specimen too. As you can see, our beagle has multiple skills, but swimming is not one of them. Sadly, his weight tends to sink him. On the other hand, Reilly, our Jack Russell loves to show off in the water while the beagle hangs out at the shore.
