A few days ago I dared to draw people... not my favorite subject though... not because I don't enjoy it, but because I mess them up really bad. Michael Ananian, my life drawing professor at UNCG once said: "The human figure is nothing but a series of relationships among its parts. In order to attempt to draw an accurate human figure one must study and understand these relationships." I obviously need to study more.

Love your humor! :)
Another way to think of drawing humans is to think of them as shapes. You are not drawing a nose or an eye or a face or a foot, you are drawing a shape. Much easier to draw the human figure when you think of it that way.
Also, what helped me is to take magazine photos of humans and turn them upside down. This helps you to visualize a shape rather than your brain think of a body part.
Then you can move on to the relationships.
The fact that you share them is fantastic, I really like the coat on the back of the chair, I struggle with hands, they never look right and when I see people who can draw them I'm in awe!
Not bad, Edgar. For someone who is used to architectural stuff, I think these people look good. Hope all is well with you.
